The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) is seeking feedback on how to improve truck parking in the state.

Just a few minutes of your time will help us understand issues that are important to you.

To develop effective recommendations for both long-haul and short-haul drivers, NJDOT has developed two surveys:

  1. For Short-Haul Drivers, such as drayage or delivery drivers, who park in New Jersey for staging and daytime breaks.
  2. For Long-Haul Drivers who park in New Jersey overnight.

You're welcome to take one or both of the surveys, as applicable to your experience. While geared for drivers, industry participation is welcome.

Responses are anonymous – your input is critical to helping NJDOT understand your needs!

Overview: The New Jersey Department of Transportation Office of Freight Planning (NJDOT OFP) is studying truck parking throughout the state. The objective is to investigate challenges through data collection, stakeholder input, and review of operational and technological trends to understand how the system is currently operating. Based on these findings, the team will develop solutions, strategies, and policies to address any challenges.
